Restaurant Sonne, Engi
In Engi, on the way from Schwanden to Elm, the "Sonne" inn was reopened at the beginning of June. The inn has been offering its hospitality for over 120 years. Some renovations have been made in the inn and there is something new for the guests. In addition to the bowling alley, you can also play billiards here. This room is also suitable for meetings, club events, various meetings, Jass clubs and of course free time with family and friends.
A beautiful playground has been set up for the little visitors. The terrace offers a fantastic view of the mountains.
The highlight of the inn is our "Fusion Cuisine". We offer new dishes in the Glarus region. In addition to traditional Swiss cuisine, you can also enjoy shashlik (grilled meat on a skewer), real Russian salad, Ukrainian borscht with garlic rolls, piroshki, etc. A "fusion cuisine" is a combination of world-famous dishes together with Swiss and Slavic cuisine. We plan special menus for every taste.
Banquets, family events, birthdays, corporate events, etc. are welcome. We hope to be able to do something good and special for the Glarus region and look forward to every guest.
