The Risi Scout Home is located in Näfels, Canton Glarus. It is nestled at the entrance to the valley in a picturesque area between two mountain ranges. The nearest bus stop and a large shopping centre are only 550 m away from the home. The motorway feeder road is only 2 km away. Parking is available directly in front of the scout home. In the immediate vicinity, the Klosterturnhalle sports field offers enough space for games and other activities. In addition, there is a sports centre (Linth Arena) in Näfels with an indoor swimming pool (currently under renovation), climbing and bouldering hall and a skater park. The Freulerpalast is also worth seeing.

Beautiful excursion destinations include the Oberseetal with a small mountain pool, the Klöntal, the Kerenzerberg (indoor pool, scooter fun and much more) or the Walensee region.

Due to its excellent location, the Risi Scout Home is ideal as a camp, course or seminar accommodation!

Prices

• Scout departments: CHF 11.- per person and night
• Other: CHF 18.- per person and night
• Minimum amount for storage: CHF 300.-/ 350.- (summer/winter)
• Minimum amount for weekend rental: CHF 300.-/ 350.- (summer/winter)

Flat rate for heating, electricity, water and waste:

• CHF 50.- per day (summer season: 1 April – 30 September)
• CHF 100.- per day (winter season: 1 October – 31 March)
