Paragliding launch site Wiggis-Rautispitz (2282 m.a.s.l.)

The Wiggis is, so to speak, the local mountain of Netstal in the Glarus region.
As everywhere in the Glarus region, the differences in altitude are characteristic of the flights.
The Rautispitz is 2283 meters high and lies high above the Linth Valley, about 600 meters north of the Wiggis.
The Rautispitz and Wiggis peaks are one of the classic destinations in the mountain hiking trail network in the canton of Glarus. The starting point for the ascent is the Obersee. On the top of the mountain runs the municipal border between Näfels and Netstal.
