The new place of learning and experience in Glarus

The extracurricular learning location along the ELMER Citro Quellenweg offers pupils of the 2nd cycle (especially grades 5 and 6) the opportunity to immerse themselves in the topic directly in the unique landscape and follow the traces of the water as part of a day trip in an everyday and action-oriented way.

In cooperation with ELMER Citro (RAMSEIER Suisse AG), the UNESCO World Heritage Association Tectonic Arena Sardona and VISIT Glarnerland, the extracurricular learning location "WATER MARCH" was realised on the ELMER Citro spring trail. It offers the optimal access for the development of various aspects around the topic of water for children thirsty for knowledge. With the researcher journal, the personal bags and the backpack for teachers including research material, the class sets off together.

Note on security:

It is not recommended to walk the path in heavy rain and thunderstorms.
Depending on the weather, the ascent requires concentration and good footwear due to slippery spots.

90 minutes (walking time) plus solving the tasks in the researcher's journal and time to play, linger and have a picnic/lunch

CHF 5.00 per child and accompanying person (incl. Volg voucher worth CHF 20.00, research material, bags and research journals, etc.)
