The snowshoe trail to the Oberblegisee is one of the most scenic snowshoe tours in the Braunwald holiday region. From the mountain station of the Luchsingen-Brunnenberg aerial cableway, the marked trail leads through the snowy landscape with impressive views of the surrounding mountains.
The steadily but pleasantly ascending path leads up to the beautifully situated Alp Oberblegi. Once at the top, you will find the Oberblegisee – in winter a quiet, deeply snow-covered mountain lake, nestled in an impressive setting.
The tour is suitable for experienced snowshoe hikers and offers an unforgettable winter experience thanks to the varied route and impressive scenery.
The Oberblegisee is also worth a visit in summer: The deep blue mountain lake, accessible from Braunwald via Bächialp, provides an ideal refreshment during hot summer days and is a lovely spot for a short or sometimes longer break.
