A family favourite in Braunwald: this easy and enjoyable hike runs through the enchanted forests of the Glarus mountain village with no challenging inclines.

The classic excursion walk leads from the village mostly on horizontal paths through forest sections and past small mountain streams. At the popular vantage point and the cozy Restaurant Nussbüel, a comfortable sun terrace and fine homemade Gugelhupf await you. It takes about an hour to reach the Restaurant Nussbüel from Braunwald (village).
