Welcome to the Ortstockhaus

The Ortstockhaus is located in the Glarus region on the Braunwaldalp, surrounded by the Ortstock, Eggstöcke and with a view of the Glarus Alps.

The house with its semicircular shape was extensively renovated in 2016 in order to bring out the qualities of the listed house from 1931. The result is a jewel that combines the ambience of yesteryear with the comfort of today.

At 1772 metres above sea level, enjoy a rustic platter and a good wine on our beautiful sun terrace.

Relax in the cosy wooden parlour with a piece of homemade cake and a house coffee.

Dinner

In the evening we serve a rich, freshly prepared dinner at 6.30 pm.

Overnight guests dream in the original rooms in new beds and red-and-white checkered bed linen. Instead of television, there is a distant view - with unforgettable pictures, day and night.
