Luftseilbahn Niederurnen-Morgenholz
The cable car is in operation all year round, with restrictions in case of very bad weather.
The train also transports bikes.
The Hirzli mountain restaurant can be easily reached from the Morgenholz mountain station in about 15 minutes via the forest path suitable for prams.
A pick-up service is offered for visitors with walking disabilities.
The Steinmann family from Bodenberg runs the cosy inn with 80 seats and a beautiful outdoor terrace.
On a well-marked circular hiking trail in the Niederurner Täli, you will come across over forty different animal and mythical sculptures, which the forest warden Thomas Jud created with his chainsaw. The hike takes about 90 minutes and leads to numerous beautiful viewpoints.
Playground Mettmen Beautiful forest playground by the stream, with fountain, fireplaces and log cabin. Accessible with children in about an hour on good paths.
Hirzli The mountain hike with a magnificent panoramic view over the Linth plain, Lake Walen and far into the Glarus region. The small, imposing summit can be reached in about 3 hours via Alp Schwifärch.
