Luftseilbahn Luchsingen – Brunnenberg
The Luchsingen – Brunnenberg cable car is primarily used by the Glarus Technical Operations for the operation and maintenance of the power plant facilities.
Thanks to the two 8-person cabins, the modern cable car is also ideal for tourist use and takes hikers to an attractive starting point of an extensive hiking area.
In just five minutes, the cable car takes guests from the valley station (600 m above sea level) to the mountain station in Brunnenberg (1100 m above sea level). The ideal starting point for the enjoyable hike to the deep blue Oberblegisee (1420 m above sea level)
The area in the Brunnenberg is also ideal for bike, ski and snowshoe tours.
Strollers & Wheelchairs
Mobile ramp for wheelchairs and prams at the valley station. Transport at no extra cost.
Extra trips
Extra trips are possible from 07.00 a.m. to 07.00 p.m. Please register your desired journeys the day before or at least one hour before the desired departure by calling +41 58 817 11 12 . These trips outside the timetable cost a flat rate of CHF 48 per trip for 1 to 3 people. From 4 people (adults) the normal rates apply.
