Loipe Elm

The Elm cross-country trail is surrounded by the Tectonic Arena Sardona UNESCO World Heritage Site and runs through the beautiful Wakker Prize-winning mountain village.

The first section of the cross-country ski trail "Wiese" leads almost flat past the listed houses. As you glide along, there is enough time to let your gaze wander over the spectacular mountain panorama with Tschingelhörnern and Martinsloch.
If you're lucky, you'll also experience a natural spectacle: Twice a year, in March and September, the sun shines for a few minutes through the 22-metre-high rock window right on the church. Historically, the journey on cross-country skis continues: over the bridge follows the "Bärentritt" part with the largest incline of the entire route. Once at the top, the trail leads along the edge of the forest to Aeschen. There is the huge Aeschen stone, which thundered into the valley during the Elmer landslide in September 1881.
