Welcome to the book paradise of the Glarus State Library
The State Library offers an up-to-date and varied range of media for all age and population groups. The offer includes books, CDs, DVDs, magazines and other media. They also collect publications related to the canton of Glarus.
It also has historical collections, manuscripts and some special collections (Walter Blumer map collection, holdings of Arthur Dürst, Fritz Zwicky as well as holdings of the Historical Society and the Natural Research Society of the Canton of Glarus).
A library card is required to borrow any media.
