Kinderland Hüttenberg

Welcome to the Kinderland Hüttenberg – the easy practice area for families.

In the middle of the Hüttenberg is the Kinderland: 2 rope lifts transport the little ones up the slopes, jumps, courses and many cool practice opportunities make the Kinderland an adventurous and attractive place for families.

The Hüttenberg location is easily accessible: With the Niederschlacht-Hüttenberg gondola lift in a few minutes from the village or on foot also in a few minutes' walk. Catering options are also available with the Snowligrill, the Hotel Cristal and other restaurants in the area.

Sledging: On a groomed slope, children can whiz down safely with their sleds. Sleds and füdlibobs can be rented from the snow sports school.

Skiing/snowboarding: Below the ski school area there are two practice lifts with coloured gates and small jumps. The terrain is ideal for the first experiences on skis or snowboard. Persons aged 6 and over need a valid ticket for these lifts. Tickets (incl. Niederschlacht gondola lift) can be purchased at the ski school. The tickets for the sports lanes are also valid in the Kinderland.

Play: Year-round playground between the Hotel Cristal and the ski school office.

Snowli grill: At the ski school's snack stand, there is a refreshment for hungry stomachs or a coffee for parents, grandparents, godparents and all other proud observers.

Hotel Cristal: If French fries or other warm menus are desired, you've come to the right place. Directly above the children's area is the large terrace of the Hotel Cristal.

Barbecue spots: Above the Snowliland there are two barbecue areas with fire bowls and benches. A picnic package with wood, sausages and blanket can be obtained from the snowli grill.

Fuchsgadä Après Ski Bar: When the muscles are slowly tired and the trains stop operating in the evening, then off to the fox! With the Fuchsgadä, in the middle of the Hüttenberg practice area, young Braunwalders have created a cool après-ski bar from an old stable.

Braunwald upwards association
Braunwald is to become more attractive for families. For this reason, locals and sympathizers of Braunwald founded the association "Braunwald aufwärts" in spring 2020. The association realized the children's area for the 2020/21 winter season.
