Käsepass - Braunwaldalp
The Braunwaldalp is the third alp in the chain Oberblegi, Bösbächi, Braunwald. It is accessible from the Bösbächialp via the hiking trail towards Braunwald – or also coming from Braunwald.
Braunwald is accessible from Linthal by the funicular, then follow the road through the village towards Schwettiberg and further on, soon the huts can be seen. The Ortstock greets and the Käsepass stamp can be found here at the alpine cheese dairy of Margrit and Jakob Streiff-Ruckstuhl. There is also a self-service refrigerator here where you can purchase the fine Braunwalder alpine cheese, alpine raclette cheese, and depending on the season alpine butter.
