Käsepass - Alp Krauchtal
The Werben Sennte is one of three Sennte in the wild Krauchtal, which could also be somewhere in Canada.
The archway at the entrance to the green high valley reminds one of cowboys and almost a bit of the Wild West; and soon you can see the stately alpine huts, from which smoke may just be rising, because two of the Sennte are still making cheese. The Käsepass box is attached here at the alpine hut of Franz & Yvonne Marti-Birchler. The Krauchtal from the Weissenberge is a beautiful circular hike.
