Käsepass Alp Hinterschlatt

The path to Alp Hinterschlatt leads into the narrow Rossmatter Valley, on the same path that hikers and mountaineers use for the Glärnischhütte SAC.

The gravel road is closed to traffic, the Alpen-Taxi (079 693 49 49, Plätz– Chäseren) brings the hiker closer to the destination.

Between Klöntal Plätz and Chäseren, an inconspicuous path, marked with a signpost, branches off to the left into the Grappli forest, which leads to the unique place, the Unterstafel of Hinterschlatt. Here you can also find the cheese pass stamp.

The most beautiful hikes to Alp Hinterschlatt:

• (A swim in Lake Klöntal awaits you before or after the hike) From Lake Klöntal, head towards the Glärnischhütte SAC, into the Rossmatter Valley, and soon follow the turn-off to the Marco and Brigitte Huser-Schnyder family / Alp Hinterschlatt.

• The Käsepass-Alp Dejen is also located in the Klöntal area, but on the other side and is a beautiful destination after an overnight stay at the Hotel Rhodannenberg on the second day of hiking.
