Käsepass - Alp Heuboden
The Alp Heuboden is located high above Ennenda and the Ennet mountains. The Käsepass box can be found at Oberstafel at 1826 meters.
The most beautiful route leads over Äugsten (with the Äugstenbahn, registration required at 055 640 81 53, then at the Äugstenhütte after a good coffee continue towards Rotärd and to Oberstafel Heuboden; descent via the hiking trail to Mittelstafel; via Ennetberge back to Ennenda; approx. 5 hrs). From Oberstafel there are further beautiful hikes: to Schilt or over the Fronalppass towards Talalp-Spanegg and Filzbach.

• Those who want to hike far can combine the hike to Käsepass Alp Heuboden with the hike from Äugsten to Käsepass Alp Fessis. This then is a full day of hiking.
