Käsepass Alp Heuboden

Alp Heuboden is located high above Ennenda and the Ennetberge mountains. The cheese pass box can be found on the Oberstafel at 1826 meters.

The most beautiful route leads via Äugsten (with the Äugstenbahn, registration required on 055 640 81 53), then at the Äugstenhütte after a good coffee continue towards Rotärd and to the Oberstafel Heuboden; Descent via the hiking trail to the Mittelstafel; via Ennetberge back to Ennenda; approx. 5 hours).

From the Oberstafel there are other beautiful hikes: to the Schilt or over the Fronalp Pass in the direction of the Käsepass-Alp Talalp-Spanegg and Filzbach.

• If you want to hike two Cheese Pass Alps at the same time, you can couple the hike to Alp Heuboden with the hike to Alp Fessis - from Äugsten first to Fessis and then to Heuboden. But this is then a full hiking day.
