Käsepass - Alp Fessis
Fessis is beautifully located above Ennenda and Sool. There are various paths to the Käsepass-Kästchen on Ober Fessis.
Recommended is the one from Ennenda: With the Äugstenbahn (in the summer months, registration required at 055 640 81 53) you can comfortably go up in the morning to the Äugstenhütte at 1500 m above sea level, to then enjoy a morning coffee and a piece of cake before taking the steep and beautiful hiking trail to Fessis. Always follow the signpost towards Fessis-Seeli, then at the crest go right down to the alpine hut (1850 m above sea level).
