Viewpoint with an impressive view of the Linth Gorge

It is impressive, the Linth Gorge, at the back of the Glarus region.

From the Känzeli, a natural viewing platform with a bench, you can enjoy an impressive and almost dramatic view: water, combined with sand, has eaten into the rocks in patient work.

Further south, the famous Pantenbrugg crosses the gorge as the only crossing.

The technically easy hike to the Känzeli starts in Tierfed right next to the Linth bridge at the gravel car park at the end of the public road and leads initially over meadows, later slightly uphill on a good hiking trail through the forest and takes about twenty minutes.
