The hike to the Fridolinshütte SAC leads towards the dream mountain Tödi, the highest in the Glarus region.

"It's farther than you think!" warns the hut wardens of the Fridolinshütte. Fortunately, there are shortcut options: From Linthal station, you can take a taxi or private car to Tierfed. From here, you should expect four to five hours of hiking time. With a mountain bike or the Alpine taxi, you can shorten the route further to Hintersand. Then begins the 800-meter altitude gain and 2.5-hour ascent to the hut, until the well-deserved beer is served.
