Guided tours of the power plant at Löntsch
Visit the cradle of Axpo (formerly NOK) at the foot of the Wiggis. The tour starts at the museum. After a short introduction, the company cable car takes you up to the moated castle, where the safety throttle valve is visited and the wonderful Glarus mountain panorama can be enjoyed. The tour then leads through the switchgear from the substation and via the cable duct to the ball valves of the power plant. Following the path of the water, the tour ends with a visit to the control center. Finally, there is still some time left to admire the more than 100-year-old turbine with generator in the museum.
