Flysch at the Tschinglen Stream
There lies a striking rock fold to be discovered along the steep walls of the gorge here.
The stream has cut deep into the easily eroded shale of the Flysch succession, exposing the mighty rock faces. From the bench you can see a clear crease in the Flysch, which testifies to the enormous forces at work during the formation of the Alps.
