Fireplace Mettlen

The official fireplace of the magazine "Schweizer Familie" is located directly on the hiking trail, the Sernf is not far away and a beautiful new fountain provides water directly at the fireplace.

Accessibility:
From the cantonal road, you can reach the fireplace in a few minutes on foot. It is located right next to hiking route 55 and offers a beautiful view of the Sernf and the surrounding mountains.

Location:
The fenced fire pit has a well-stocked wood store and a beautiful well. The fireplace is slightly located on the slope and has a grate, which can be mounted at two different heights and offers space for some barbecues. A beautiful, new bench complements the existing bench-table combination and offers additional seating options by the fireplace.
