On the occasion of the new temporary exhibition "SHOW FACE" on care and coercion in Switzerland, the film "Witch Children" will be shown.
The documentary "Witch Children" tells the story of forcibly cared for children who were tortured and sexually abused by priests and nuns in the name of religion. Director Edwin Beeler lets former children in care have their say, who survived these horrors thanks to their resilience and imagination.

The modern and recently reconceptualised museum is devoted to the tragic fate of Anna Göldi. Executed by the sword in 1782, the museum focuses on the subject of human rights.
Its centrepiece is the incredibly well-documented trial, specifically the torture accounts. Guided by this, visitors wander from one thematic island to the next: Witchcraft, Networks of Power, Enlightenment, Publicity, Culture of Remembering, Rehabilitation.
