90 years have passed since the birth of the soft drink from Elm. Both the name and the recipe of ELMER Citro are still unchanged – ELMER Citro is a tradition that has arrived in the modern age.
Mineralquellen Elm is the largest industrial company in Elm and employs 20 people.
After the "Elmer water" came onto the market in 1893, the Mineralquellen Elm was founded in 1929 and the first bottling building was built. Since then, the company has repeatedly adapted to economic changes and the needs of consumers.
Today, the company belongs to Ramseier Suisse AG. On 8 June 2017, the bottling plant in Elm was officially put back into operation after extensive modernisation.
