Blumenpfad auf der Tschinglenalp

Colourful blossoms between rugged mountains. In alpine hay meadows such as on the Tschinglenalp you will find a great diversity of species

The flower path leads as a circular route from the mountain station of the cable car on the approximately 1 km long hiking trail across the flower-rich meadows. The route is marked with small symbols. On the detour to the Tschinglenbach you will also come across some damp areas. On site, the Tschinglen-Wirtschaft invites you to eat and drink. The hiking time is about 1 hour. The path is easily accessible with children, but not suitable for prams. From about mid-June to the end of July, the variety of flowers on the Tschinglenalp is at its greatest. Enjoy the splendour on site: Refrain from picking flowers and stay on the paths. In alpine hay meadows such as on the Tschinglenalp you will find a great diversity of species. If you take a closer look, you can discover more than 70 different types of flowers and grasses in just a few square metres. And on beautiful summer days, over 30 different species of butterflies fly from flower to flower.

FOLDED BROCHURE: The folded brochure for the Flower Trail is available at the valley and mountain stations of the Tschinglen cable car, at the Tschinglen-Wirtschaft, at the guest information office in Elm and at the Glarnerland Nature Centre.
