Beizli Alp Oberblegi

Alp Oberblegi is located above Luchsingen. It is easily accessible for hikers with the Brunnenbergbahn. From the mountain station, the alpine road leads after a few hairpin bends to the Unterstafel of Alp Oberblegi.

If the sign "Alp open" is at the edge of the path, the alpine restaurant is open. In addition to fine alpine products, there are various drinks and small catering options.
By appointment, it is possible to visit the alpine farm and enjoy a fine alpine snack.
Cheese can be sold at any time in the Untertafel as well as in the Oberstafel. There are various types of alpine cheese, including alpine raclette cheese and fresh alpine butter.
Also at the Oberstafel a few hairpin bends further, at the deep blue Oberblegisee there is - if the alpine farmers are at the hut - a small place to stop for refreshments. Hikers often choose to continue hiking to Braunwald.
The cheese pass box with the Glarus cheese passport stamp is also waiting for Oberblegi.
