Fly kites, jet down the mountain on scooters, grill dragon bread and many other highlights associated with the kite hunt: In our newly renovated family rooms, there is a short holiday full of surprises to experience in the Glarus Adventure Land.
"Located on Lake Walen, the Churfirsten are home to many caves. At the very back is the mightiest cave, which reaches deep into the mountain. It was rumoured that this was the hiding place of a large dragon. Once many, many years ago, the dragon flew out of the cave and set course for Glarus. He flew at such a speed that he could no longer avoid the big mountain... Many residents told anno duezis: "Ä sonä luutä Chlapf, dass mr all verwached sind und dä hämmers gseh, äs Loch im Mürtschästogg". Even today you can see through the mountain. Brave people hiked up the mountain and looked for the dragon, but only a large tooth was found. After many generations full of secrets and rumours, the name "Dragon Glarus Tooth" was born. But where does "Glarnerzahn" live? There are whispers that he has been spotted in Filzbach on the Kerenzerberg!"
Find the dragon with your family and enjoy two nights on the Kerenzerberg. In the new maisonette or budget family rooms, adventure comes included: A ticket for the Kerenzerbergbahn up to the Habergschwänd plus a scooter ride, as well as a surprise awaits the adventurous. Back in Filzbach, the next day we take a 20-minute walk to the dragon playground. We also provide equipment for lunch on the grill or a lunch bag - because adventures make you hungry.
