Ascent to Muttseehütte SAC / Alternative route via Nüschentäli
The hike to the Muttseehütte SAC leads through the power plant tunnel to Limmernsee and over Mörtel up to the hut.
By car or taxi to Tierfed in Linthal. From there, the aerial cableway goes up to Kalktrittli. The hike follows over Kalktrittli, Nüschen, and Muttenwändli to the Muttseehütte. This route is recommended only for hikers free of dizziness. After about 2.5 hours, you reach the Muttseehütte.
