Founded in Horgen in 1880 and expanded in Glarus in 1902, the Horgenglarus furniture factory is the oldest chair and table manufacturer in Switzerland and has been one of the world's top furniture manufacturers in terms of design and quality for 135 years.

The high demands on design, execution and durability of the products led the most important Swiss furniture designers - Moser, Haefeli, Bill, Haussmann, Wettstein and others - to Glarus in the course of the last century to have their designs realised here. The collections developed have become role models of Swiss furniture creation and continue to be produced to the present day. The classic 1-380 model from 1918 now has undisputed cult status.
With this tradition in the background and innovative cooperation with selected furniture designers and architects, Horgenglarus is still able to hold its own on the market today.
