Operating Information

The 8-seater gondola lift, which went into operation in 2010, takes guests from Ennenda to Aeugsten in the unique nature and wildlife reserve of national importance.

The Aeugstenbahn offers a comfortable entrance to the UNESCO World Heritage Site Tectonic Arena Sardona and the opportunity to discover the impressive Glarus mountains on hiking trails with different levels of difficulty.

Here you can marvel at a diverse flora and fauna and the opportunity to observe native wild animals without disturbing them.

Not far from the mountain station is the cosy Aeugstenhütte, where local delicacies are offered.
