Glarus Summer Stage celebrates its 20th anniversary
From 24 to 31 July 2026, the Volksgarten Glarus will once again be transformed into a popular meeting place for music, dance and socialising. The Glarus Summer Stage is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year and invites you to a varied programme for young and old with free admission.
The formations Blächzend and the Big Band No Limits will kick off on 24 July with rousing sounds from brass to swing. On Saturday, "Glaris Tanzet" with DJ Roger Rhyner will provide a Caribbean salsa and party feeling. It continues with the Road Bluesers, the Glarus music mix by Time To Fly and The Liptons as well as the Pergola Session Band. Finally, on 31 July, the Rämlers will shake the Volksgarten.
In addition to the musical highlights, the festival restaurant with bar and grill invites you to linger on all event evenings. For 20 years, the Glarus Summer Stage has stood for summer cultural experiences in the open air and has long since become an integral part of the Glarus event calendar.
