Weissenberge is regarded as Glarnerland's sun terrace. The south-facing slope above Matt stretches from 1266 m above sea level to the Gulderstock, the highest point at 2520 m above sea level. Nestled in between is an idyllic landscape with hiking trails, cosy Alpine guesthouses and dotted with settlements. All the circular paths in the central area of Weissenberge are suitable for prams. During the winter, you can enjoy a toboggan run, ski tours, winter hiking trails and snowshoeing.
