Mountain hotel Bischofalp

The Berghotel Bischofalp is located at 1650 m above sea level. In winter directly on the ski slope and in summer directly on the Elmer Höhenweg. Impressive view of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Tectonic Arena Sardona with the Martinsloch.

Silvia Hefti and her hostesses attach great importance to authentic cuisine with seasonal and regional specialties. Enjoy the friendly service on the uniquely located terrace with the rustling fir trees in the background or in the cozy restaurant.

The premises are wheelchair accessible.

On request, the hosts also offer paid transport and luggage service.

Due to renovation work, there is a reduced offer with 3 bookable rooms in the summer season 2026. The terrace will also be a little smaller during the construction phase.

Price information

Our prices do not include local tourist taxes. Deposit your luggage in the Bischofalp luggage depot at the ski house of the Schwanden Ski Club at the Ämpächli gondola mountain station and inform us 24 hours before your arrival. Outside of the gondola lift travel times, we will pick you up personally at the valley station car park in Elm by appointment.
